Testimonies of ex-offenders whose lives have been transformed

Testimonies to the power of God. . .

Meet Jim Luoma

Jim recently graduated with his Master's of Divinity degree from Cincinnati Christian University and is founder of Bearing the Burden Ministries, Inc. (www.btbmi.com).  A Vietnam veteran, former police officer and registered nurse, he served over 17 years in prison.  Read his testimony and rejoice at the transforming power of God!

Meet Michael Swiger

Mike is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Ohio University and an honors student at Reformed Theological Seminary.  He has published two novels under the pen name Michael Andrew.  His first, A Trial of Innocents was nominated for the 2001 Pulitzer Prize.  Mike serves on the pastoral staff at The Gospel House Church in Walton Hills, Ohio, where he works in prison ministry.  Before becoming a writer or prison minister, however, Mike was a convict in the Ohio Prison System.  During his incarceration he experienced the transforming power of the gospel.  His first book was written while he was incarcerated and has been very well received. Michael now uses his legal name rather than the pseudonym his first two books were published under and has written two additional books with another two in process.
