Your loved one is returning from Prison! For most people, this is a time of great joy, a long-awaited fulfillment of a dream. But mingled with the joyous feelings of anticpation, many also experience lingering fears and uncertainties about what will happen next. Your loved one may also be plagued with concerns.

We hope that you have (or will) read our newest publication, Coming Home! This practical book will serve as a travel guide for you and your loved one as you navigate through uncharted territory. Coming Home! offers basic guidelines to assist you and your loved one in making the transition from prison to home.

THE FAMILY AND CORRECTIONS NETWORK:

The National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated at the Family & Corrections Network
(NRCCFI/FCN) is the oldest and largest organization in the U.S. focused on children and famlies of the
incarcerated and programs that serve them.

The mission of the NRCCFI/FCN is to:

            •Disseminate acurate and relevant information.

            •Guide the development of family strengthening policy, and practice.

            •Train, prepare, and inspire those working in the field.

            •Include the families in defining the issues and designing solutions.
