The Institute for Prison Ministries

History

The Institute for Prison Ministries (IPM), a department of Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College began as a result of several discussions with Charles Colson and Kenneth Wessner.  In 1984 through the vision and generosity of Kenneth and Norma Wessner and a longtime business partner the Institute for Prison Ministries was established.

Mission

The mission of the Institute for Prison Ministries is to support and serve the professionals and volunteers who bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to prisoners, and those who disciple professing Christians in prison and following their release.
