Help and hope for sex offenders
Those who have been convicted of sex crimes are often treated as the lepers of modern society! While their crimes may illicit strong emotions in us, they are, nevertheless, children of God and need the services that we are uniquely qualified to give. These resources are provided to assist ministries, concerned citizens, family members and individuals in understanding this difficult societal, spiritual and personal problem.
The Safer Society Foundation, Inc.,
This non-profit research, advocacy and referral agency focuses on the prevention and treatment of sexual abuse. They provide resources to help create safer communities, assist victims with healing and restitution, and provide offenders with the tools to be accountable for their actions and to work towards rehabilitation. Their Sex Offender Treatment Referral program links families, victims and offenders with programs nation-wide that provide services for abuse-reactive children, juvenile and adult sex offenders. Safer Society Foundation is also the distributor of Stop It Now guidebooks.
